- Registry is a listing of programs/institutions which meet or
exceed the Global Standards.
- Entries in the Registry are valid for three (3) years, commencing
in the fall, after which the program/institution must submit a current
Self Assessment Registration
Form to maintain continued listing in the Registry.
- Registry will appear in the fall issue of the Journal of
ICHPER·SD.
ELIGIBILITY FOR LISTING IN REGISTRY
- Program/institution is an organizational member of ICHPER·SD,
and maintains membership for the duration of the listing.
- Program meets all required accreditation standards of the
respective state/country/nation.
- Program meets or exceeds the standard of content of the ICHPER·SD
Global Standards for Professional Preparation of Physical
Educators, and at the specified standard of achievement.

a minimum of 30 clock hours of instruction in each of the nine areas
of disciplinary knowledge (1.1 through 1.9); 60 clock hours in professional
knowledge and skills, including instruction in all eight sub areas
(2.1 through 2.8); and 60 clock hours in pedagogical knowledge and
